Bernell Terry

SANTAN — Bernell Blinden Terry, 64, died on Feb. 19, 2011, at Caring House in Sacaton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the District 4 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Friday in Upper Santan Cemetery, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating.
Mr. Terry was born on Feb. 14, 1947, in Santan and was a son of Miles Terry and Alice Baptisto. He was a farm laborer and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed music, especially chicken scratch, and was good at playing the snare drum. He was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers.
Survivors include two sisters, Leatrice Celaya of Santan and Loretta Norris of Sweetwater; a brother, Irving H. Terry of Stotonic; and several nieces and nephews.
