Bernadette was born on June 17, 1951 to Evelyn Catha Jackson. She worked as a secretary for Gila River Indian Community, Child Care and Development until she retired. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend.
She enjoyed listening to music and singing. She loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons Joseph, Michael and Nathan; her mother, Evelyn Jackson; two siblings, Gilbert Catha and Shirley Jackson and her grandchildren, Joseph, Jazmine, Seth, Ethan, Hayley, Hayden, Gregory, Catalina, Amelia and Liam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory De Herrera; father, Richard Jackson; brother, Darrell Jackson and her grandparents, Jose and Lisciana Catha.
Wake beginning at 6pm on Monday, December 30 at Casa Blanca Assembly of God. Graveside service at 9am on Tuesday, December 31 at Sacate Cemetery.
