Barney Compton

Barney Perkins Compton, 55, of Maricopa died January 24, 2022, in Chandler. He was born August 30, 1966, in Yuma to Roy Compton and Neomi Smith. Barney enjoyed mechanic and handyman work; he was a “jack of trades”. He enjoyed cooking and grilling. He was a good man, and a helpful friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his 4 sons, Joseph Compton, James Compton, Jason Compton, and Lee Smith, a daughter Gabrielle Compton, his siblings, Lonearrow Compton, George Compton and Iva Sustaita, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, 2 brothers and a granddaughter.
