Barbara Brown

Barbara Ann Brown, 82, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 26, 2010, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
The wake will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at the family home, North Orchard Road, No. 22, east of Oren Road. The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Saturday in Bapchule Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was born on July 28, 1928, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Herbert Wilson and Isabella Nelson. She loved to go to church and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Coolidge. She was a homemaker, spent much time with her family and was very caring and giving. She sang inspirational songs and would travel to other states and minister to churches. She was a mother figure to her community.
Survivors include her husband of more than 60 years, Perlie E. Sr.; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Zachary and Gregory Young Sr.; a brother, Herbert Wilson Jr.; and three sisters, her twin JoAnn Wilson, Mary and Ida Wilson.
