Barbara Behrent

Barbara Behrent (Skywalker) passed away peacefully in Chandler AZ on September 12th, 2021. Barb grew up in the small village of Bunahown Cashel CO Galway Ireland with her mother and father. Barbara was one of eight siblings Mary, Peter, (Barbara) Ruth, Margaret,
Imelda and Jean as well as many nieces and nephews. Close friends Patine and Aine Conneeley. Barbra moved to the US from Ireland as a young teenager along with her sister and brother Peter who served as a marine making the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam war. Barbie married in 1969 having three children Dawn, Jason, and Lynn. Barbara was a loving grandma who was very involved in the lives of her 11 grandchildren. Jocob, Austin, Adonica, Jada,
Veronica, Nicolas, Abigail,Briyah, Preston, Jazmine and Milani. She will not only be missed by her family but her closest friends as well. Merna & Sharon of Minnesota Linda of Wisconsin and her Spiritual sisters Katie and Regina of Arizona. Barbara was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness She served giving alongside her congregation. Barbara spent decades dedicating her love of life to the medically needy. She had a magic about her when it came to impacting the lives of the elderly. Her patients described her as a Ray of Sunshine entering the room on a cloudy day. She had a wild and carefree personality. She enjoyed riding on the back of Harley-Davidson’s. With her Best friend Ken. From drop tops to Caddies Jumping out of airplanes in her 50s. From binged out canes to dyed blue hair. Barbie preferred to push wheelchair rather than sit in it. She had an impeccable sense of style from classy to flashy as needed. You could see her in a crowd with her vibrant hair and gemstone in-crested cane Rocken a pair of Dr. Martens boots. Skywalker will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her
