Barbara Ann Rains

Casa Grande, AZ - Barbara Rains, 65, went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2022. She was born 5 Nov 1956, to Mildred Pierce and Elvis Smith.

Barbara was very loved by her family and will be deeply missed by all that were blessed to have known her.
She loved butterflies and her dogs all of her life and also enjoyed reading in her spare time. But what she enjoyed most, was being a grandma. Most recently, she spent the holidays with her family in Virginia and loved visiting the National Mall, Monuments, White House and Smithsonian. Heaven is a little brighter as our Lord has brought home an amazing soul. So, every time I see a butterfly, I will know that my mom is watching over us.

She was proceeded in death by her father, mother and sisters (Blue Scott and Karen Smith).
Barbara is survived by her companion of over 20 years, Tim Winchell of AZ; son, Rodney Neiss (Kim) of VA; grandchildren, Tyler and Hannah Neiss; sister Mary Cash (Robert) of CA; 3 brothers Russell (Debbie) and Darrell Moore of NE and Woody Pierce (Deborah) of MS. She also leaves behind many nephews and nieces who will miss her dearly.
