Aureliano T. Jiminez

Aureliano T. "Jimbo" or "Juely" Jimenez, 73, of Casa Grande died Sept. 6, 2007 at RTA Hospice House.

Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Jimenez was born June 16, 1934 in Vado, N.M. He served in the Army from 1956 to 1958. He moved from Las Cruces, N.M., to Casa Grande in 1972. He worked for Hecla Mining Co., Hexcel Corp. and Mayville Metal Products Co. before retiring in 1996. His hobbies were playing guitar, harmonica and accordion and singing.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Inez; two sons, Daniel and Samuel Jimenez of Phoenix; five daughters, Martha Molina of Scottsdale, Elisa Celaya of Tempe, Bertha Jimenez of Phoenix, Victoria Jimenez and Cynthia Garcia of Casa Grande; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Martin Jimenez; a sister, Emma Guerro; and a great-grandson, Anthony R. Jimenez Jr.
