Augustine Leo Galvez

ELOY - Augustine Leo Galvez, 88, of Eloy died on Oct. 17, 2013, at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. today at 220 S. Main St. The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Friday in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Galvez was born on Dec. 1, 1924, in Sells. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and did farm work. He was a hardworking man, a good dancer, could fix about anything and made kachinas. He was a good provider for his family and devoted to them. He enjoyed life and was an Arizona Cardinals fan.
Survivors include three daughters, Lydia Valencia and Dora Galvez of Casa Grande and Evelyn Martinez of Eloy; two sons, Charles Galvez of Eloy and Donald Galvez of California; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
