ARIZONA CITY — Audrey Jean Scott, 79, of Arizona City died on Sept. 17, 2011, at home.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, with Pastors Harley Faber and Jesse Hernandez officiating.
Mrs. Scott was born on May 6, 1932, in Laurel County, Ky., and was a daughter of John and Nola Everhart. She was a bookkeeper for Townley Manufacturing Co. for 20 years before retirement. She was a member of Arizona City Moose Lodge and was full of life and devoted to her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Max K. Scott; two sons, Dean Whitacre of Arizona City and Doug Whitacre of Ocala, Fla.; three daughters, Denise Ayke of Roanoke, Va., Debra Holley of Arizona City and Terry Willis of Casa Grande; two brothers, Chet Everhart of Arizona City and Alvie Everhart of Petaluma, Calif.; four sisters, Freda Blasing of Florida, Iola Gott of New Palestine, Ind., Marie Taylor of Hamilton, Ohio, and Avis Quack of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, C.J. and Chad Gamez.
