Arvie Lee Jones Thomas

ELOY - Arvie Lee Jones Thomas, 52, of Eloy died on Sept. 30, 2013, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Fountains of Living Water Church in Casa Grande. The funeral will follow at 11, with Bishop Vince Smith officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Thomas was born on Dec. 19, 1960, in Eloy. He worked for Parks and Recreation and enjoyed fishing, church, the Steelers and coaching youths. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, singing and eating. He would help anyone and loved bikes and being a father.
Survivors include two sons, Tyrone James of Phoenix and Robert Thomas of Casa Grande; a daughter, Ayana La Nea Thomas of Phoenix; three sisters, Pearlie McKinney and Gladys Sherfield of Eloy and Patricia Thomas of Tucson; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, LeeElla and Hugie Thomas Sr., and a brother, Hugie Lee Thomas Jr.
