Apolonio Ronquillo

Apolonio Ronquillo, 82, of Casa Grande died June 11, 2007 at home.

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with rosary recited at 9 a.m. The scripture service will follow at 10, with the Rev. Bardo Antunez officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Ronquillo was born Feb. 9, 1925 in Alcala, Texas, and was a son of Dario and Maria Ronquillo. He served in the Army and was a pipefitter. He had a large extended family and special friends, and his family life was very important to him.

Survivors include his wife, Frances G.; three daughters, Herlinda Villa and Norma Mendivil of Phoenix and Joanna Tellez-Ronquillo of Casa Grande; five sons, Rene Ronquillo of Casa Grande, George Ronquillo of Avondale, Apolonio Ronquillo Jr. of Casa Grande, Andrew Ronquillo of Prescott and Richard Ronquillo of Chandler; five brothers, Jose Aguirre, Frank, Santiago, Cornelio and Elpidio Ronquillo; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
