Anthony Michael Miller, 53, died May 29, 2009 at Sacaton Care Center.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the District 4 Service Center. The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Stotonic. Burial will be in Upper Santan Cemetery.

Mr. Miller was born in Sacaton. He was a police officer for the Salt River Indian Community and also worked for Salt River and Gila River Sand and Gravel. He loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Brothers from the Rez, "Hemajkam Riders."

Survivors include a son, Mitchell Jose; a sister, Barbara Howard of Upper Santan; and three brothers, Elmer Miller Sr. of Sacaton, John Miller Sr. of Santan, and Joe Miller of Blackwater. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, and a daughter, Candace Miller.
