BAPCHULE - Anthony Eugene Thomas Sr., 65, of Bapchule died at Chandler Regional Medical Center on July 23, 2016.

Mr. Thomas was born on July 10, 1951, in Sacaton to Jasper Paul and Eugenia Mix-King. He was a hardworking, kind and motivational man. He was an outdoorsman who loved working with cattle and was known as a cowboy. He also was a faithful minister who touched the lives of many and was devoted to his family.

Survivors include 10 sons and daughters, Calvin Miles Sr., Herschel Thomas, Cristal Thomas, Dennis Miles III, Travis Thomas Sr., Ruth Thomas, Rebecca Johns, Matthew Thomas, Toni Thomas and Cody Thomas; a stepdaughter, Tiffany Alvarez; five brothers, Reynold, Ronald, Rodney, Mitchell and Kevin Paul; three sisters, Gwen Paul, Leeanna Paul and Jolene Paul; 29 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Thomas Jr.; his wife, Doris; two brothers, Clifford Thomas and Richard Paul Sr.; and a sister, Janice Coleman.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at the District 5 Multipurpose Building. The funeral will be at 6 a.m. Friday at West Casa Blanca Worship Center. Burial will be in Stotonic Cemetery.
