Annie J. Jose

NORTH SANTA ROSA VILLAGE - Annie J. Jose, 72, died on April 6, 2016, at Banner-University Medical Center in Tucson.

Mrs. Jose was born on Dec. 30, 1943, in Santa Rosa and was a daughter of Juan B. Lopez and Vitoria Joaquin. She was a domestic caretaker and enjoyed life. She was a member of the Elderly Dance Group, rosary group and an active member of St. Elizabeth Parish and her community.

She helped family and friends when needed and served on the Gu Achi District Council for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 50-plus years, Mandy, whom she met in Los Angeles; four sons, Theodore Jose Sr. of North Santa Rosa, Gerald Jose of Casa Grande, Benedict Jose of Anegam Village and Leander Jose of Tucson; a daughter, Amanda Jose of North Santa Rosa; a brother, Simon Lopez of Santa Rosa Village; two sisters, Teresa Wood of North Santa Rosa and Andrea Domingo of Santa Rosa; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Daisy Lopez; two brothers, David and Deacon Phillips Lopez; and a grandson, Jeffrey Jose.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Friday St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Sells by the Rev. Bill Minkel. Burial will be in Santa Rosa South Cemetery.
