Angela Garza

Angela Ruiz Garza, 89, of Casa Grande died on April 13, 2012, at Lita Caring Home.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy, with rosary recited at 9:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Garza was born on Aug. 2, 1922, in Jimenez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and was a daughter of Julian and Antonia Ruiz. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family. She had a way of lifting them when they were down. She loved to sing, work in her garden, cook, crochet and sew. She was a faithful woman who prayed the rosary daily.
Survivors include five sons, Arturo Garza of Kearny, Jesus Garza Jr. of Casa Grande, Ricardo Garza of Yakima, Wash., Antonio Garza of Phoenix and Lorenzo Garza of Tucson; a daughter, Santos Garza of Casa Grande; a sister, Gloria Cardenas of Socorro, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus D.; a son, Guadalupe Garza; a brother, Antonio Ruiz; and three sisters, Lola Soto, Maria Aguilar and Refujio Valenzuela.
