Anemo Antone

SAN LUCY VILLAGE -- Anemo James Antone, 76, of San Lucy died on Aug. 22, 2014, at West Valley Hospital in Goodyear.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Antone home. The wake will begin at 6 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Gu Vo Village, with Mass celebrated at 7 p.m. Burial will be early Sunday in Gu Vo Cemetery.

Mr. Antone was born on March 22, 1938, in Gu Vo and was a son of Juan Antone and Anita Montana. He was a heavy equipment operator in construction.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Manuel of Maricopa and Charlotte Cavadas of Gila Bend; six sons, Davin Antone of Gila Bend, Kelvin Antone of Gu Vo, Michael Antone of Phoenix, Gerald Antone of Buckeye, Danny Puffer of Gila Bend and Adam Antone of Phoenix; a sister, Elaine Antone of Gu Vo; a brother, Gus Antone of Hickiwan Village; 32 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anita.
