Amelia Agnes Mike

NORTH KOMELIK VILLAGE - Amelia Agnes Mike, 83, died on Feb. 7, 2016, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mrs. Mike was born on March 11, 1932, in Vamori Village and was a daughter of Steven Joaquin and Ms. Manuel. She was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing, basket weaving, going to rodeos and joking with her grandchildren. She was a devoted Catholic and taught her family much.

Survivors include two daughters, Harriet and Manuelita Mike of North Komelik; a son, Olisto Mike Jr. of North Komelik; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olisto Sr., and a granddaughter, Baby Felix.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Saturday at St. Ignatius Catholic Mission by the Rev. Bill Minkel. Rosary and wake will follow. Burial will be at 6 a.m. Sunday in North Komelik Cemetery.
