Alonso Lopez

PHOENIX — Alonso Lopez Sr., 64, of Phoenix died on Feb. 16, 2013, at Restora long term care.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Goodyear, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Carlos Jacobo. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.
Mr. Lopez was born on July 2, 1948, in Mexico and was a son of Jose Lopez and Guadalupe Sepulveda. He was Catholic and worked in landscaping. He enjoyed listening to Spanish music, dancing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Milton of Phoenix, Yolanda Lopez of Tempe and Naomi Fuentez of Goodyear; two sons, Alonso Lopez Jr. of Phoenix and Mario Lopez of Surprise; two sisters, Magdelena Lopez of Phoenix and Stella Lopez of Mexico; three brothers, Rogelio Lopez of San Jose, Calif., Augustin Lopez of Phoenix and Rudulfo Lopez of Mexico; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carlos and Emilio Lopez.
