Alice M. Manuel

SACATON - Alice Manuel, 82, of Sacaton died Dec. 4, 2007 in Casa Grande.


Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday at St. Anne Catholic Mission in Santan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 8 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Val Boyle.

Mrs. Manuel was born July 29, 1925 in Blackwater to Antonia and Escalante Jackson. She was an active member of St. Anne Mission and served on various committees and projects. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Manuel of Santan; a daughter, Majel Thomas of Sacaton; two sisters, Donna Stone of Sacaton and Velma Lewis of Ajo; 10 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, in 1982 and a daughter, Bernadine Thomas, in April.
