Alfredo H. Arenas, 88, passed away on February 3, 2020. He was born to Alfredo and Rosa Arenas in Socorro, Texas on May 20, 1931. Alfredo enjoyed watching TV. He worked at Santa Cruz Valley High School as maintenance worker for 21 years. Alfredo raised his nieces and nephews. He was a army veteran and was a staff sergeant in the Korean Conflict.

Alfredo is survived by his son: Jesse Rosel; his daughter: Teresa Marin; his nieces and nephews: Lupe Rosel, Rosa Rosel, Margie Garcia, Danny Gonzales, Linda Gonzales, and Joe Arenas; 21 grand nieces & nephews; 42 great grand nieces & nephews and 3 great great grand nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his niece: Carmen Gomez; his brothers: Victor and Paul Arenas: his sister: Ramona Arenas; and his grandson: Federico R. Lujan.

Visitation will be held at 9am, Rosary 10am, and Mass 10:30am on Thursday February 6,2020 at St Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy. Burial to follow at Eloy Memorial Park.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel are handling arrangements.
