Aida Flores Olguin

STANFIELD - Aida Flores Olguin, 75, died on Feb. 26, 2020, in Maricopa.

Mrs. Olguin was born in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico, in 1944, a daughter of Juan Flores and Genoveva Quiroz. She graduated from the Academia Juarez. She worked at the Korean Embassy and later the American Embassy in Mexico City. After immigrating to America with her family, she was employed at Stanfield Elementary School for almost two decades.

She belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She followed the example of her Savior Jesus Christ by serving others around her. She most recently enjoyed volunteering at the food bank in Stanfield. The loving wife of Ernesto A. Olguin, she was married to him on Dec. 9, 1977, and sealed for eternity on Dec. 17, 1977, in the LDS Provo Temple. They shared 42 years together.

In addition to her husband, survivors include five daughters and sons, Aida O. Hurst, Ernesto, Hector and Esteban Olguin and Adriana Dalhin; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Ezequiel Flores and Marcela Flores, and a grandson, Osiel Olguin.

Funeral at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at the LDS Trekell Building in Casa Grande.
