Wanda Stogner

March 25, 1941 — October 24, 2014

SNAKETOWN - Wynonna Marcella "Wanda" Stogner, 73, of Snaketown died peacefully on Oct. 24, 2014, at The Villa in Mesa, with her family by her side.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church. The celebration of life there will be at 8 a.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Snaketown Cemetery.

Mrs. Stogner was born on March 25, 1941, in Snaketown and was a daughter of Davis and Agnes Lewis. A homemaker, she enjoyed reading, loved watching movies and was a huge Elvis Presley fan. She also loved her dogs, which were by her side day and night.

Survivors include two sons, John Stogner of Snaketown and Mark Stogner of Concord, California; a daughter, Margret Vaughn of Mississippi; three brothers, Larry Lewis of Snaketown, Wayne Lewis Sr. of Sacaton and Travis Lewis of New Mexico; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion; two brothers, Franklin and David Lewis; and two sisters, Patricia Lewis and Sheila Favalla.
