Tom Bulfer

ELOY - Tom Bulfer, 89, died on Dec. 15, 2017, in Eloy.

Mr. Bulfer was born on Feb. 20, 1928, in Fairmont, Minnesota, to Joseph F. and Johanna M. Bulfer. He was a member of St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy and the Knights of Columbus in Eloy. He enjoyed teaching watchmaking and was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Society. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by five sons and daughters, Mark A. Bulfer of Northrop, Minnesota, Gary M. Bulfer of La Jolla, California, Jay R. Bulfer of Desert Hills, Arizona, Lori Ann Eichhorn of Arizona City and Jodi L. Haire of Phoenix; two sisters, Kathryn Crowley and Ruth Ann Lenort of Minnesota; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley R.; a son, Scott A. Bulfer; a grandson, Steven J. Bulfer; six brothers; and two sisters.

Rosary recited at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Alonso Garcia. Graveside service at 2 p.m. in Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.
