Kelvin Young

CHUICHU VILLAGE - Kelvin Nelson Young, 55, died on Feb. 18, 2018, at home.

Mr. Young was born on Feb. 5, 1963, in Chuichu to Floyd and Maxine (Vincent) Young. He enjoyed listening to music and socializing with his family and friends.

He was a hard worker and played bingo on his tablet to relax. He watched old westerns and was a Seahawks fan. He watched out for his nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Delia Rodriguez of Tucson; a son, Dominic Segundo of Chulik Village; his companion, Clarinda Tewawina; two brothers, Benjamin Young of Casa Grande and Lloyd Young of San Carlos; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Regina Murrietta Young.

Funeral Mass celebrated at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at St. Augustine Catholic Mission, with wake following at the Young home. Burial at sunrise on Sunday, March 4, in South Chuichu Cemetery.
