CASA GRANDE - Juanita Sites, 88, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 16, 2017.
Ms. Sites was born on May 4, 1929, in Brawley, California, to Frank and Virginia Nehem. She was known for her love of family. No matter what was going on in her personal life, she was the type of person to put others before herself and was selflessness with a giving spirit.
She was a hard worker with a strong work ethic, setting an example for her children and grandchildren. Devoted to her family, she overcame a tough life to give them a great life and lived for them. The nurturer of the family, she also was an avid reader, Diamondbacks and Coca-Cola enthusiast and animal lover. She also was known for her fudge and love of life. She loved her dog, Sparky.
She is survived by three adult children, Carol Bojorquez, Phillip Lake and Frederick Lake II; a brother, Ray Nehem; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Nehem.
Private memorial service. Contributions made be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
