Eric Juan

SANTAN - Eric Juan, 55, died on March 30, 2018, in Chandler.

Mr. Juan was born on July 15, 1962, to Martin and Lenora Cooper Juan in Sacaton. He attended Sacaton schools up until age 14. He worked for Gila River Farms for 30-plus years until his retirement in 2014.

He was known for his kindness and always being willing to help others. He was an avid mechanic and loved taking road trips.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; six sons and daughters, Jarvis Juan, Augustine Juan, Nathaniel Juan, Sky Carmello, Naobie Juan and Mercedes Howard, all of Santan; three brothers, Larry Ennis of Santan, Michael Juan Sr. of Casa Blanca and David Juan Sr. of Sacaton; six sisters, Malinda Jackson of Lower Santan, Elvira and Perlita Ennis of Sacaton, Tricia Juan of Casa Blanca, Clara and Martina Juan of Santan; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of life beginning with a gathering and wake at the home of Martina Juan, 53 E. Ho'ok St. in Upper Santan, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday, April 6. Funeral Mass celebrated at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, at St. Anne Catholic Mission by the Rev. Gregory Rice. Burial in St. Anne Cemetery.
