Donnie Manuel

SACATON FLATS - Donnie Manuel, 51, of Sacaton Flats died on April 17, 2017.
Mr. Manuel was born in Sacaton on Nov. 15, 1965, to Jose and Alicia Manuel. He attended Casa Grande Union High School and later graduated from Long Medical Institute in 1993. He began a career in physical therapy, working as a technician at Desert Valley Care Center.

He was a passionate and well-known musician in his community and played the drums for various bands. He loved spending time laughing, jamming and reminiscing with his friends and family. He loved spending quality time with his family and especially with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Roberta; their two children, Deanna and Isiah Manuel; two siblings, Blaine and Donalda Manuel; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brian Manuel.

Rosary recited at 6 p.m. Friday, April 28, at Hashen Kehk Multipurpose Building in Sacaton Flats, with wake following. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Mission. Interment in Hashen Kehk Presbyterian Cemetery.
