Billy Thornhill

CASA GRANDE - William Martineau "Billy" Thornhill, 48, died on May 29, 2018, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center, with his family by his side.

Mr. Thornhill was born on Sept. 4, 1969, in Casa Grande to Charles and Julie Thornhill. He had a dynamic personality, was outgoing and loved life. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and anything challenging. His happiest moments were spending time with his family and friends. He received degrees in both computer science and agriculture.

A real cowboy, he did what he loved, running a cattle ranch in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, with his wife and two boys. He had an infectious smile and plenty of charm.

Survivors include his parents, of Arizona City; his wife, Rachel T.; three children, Tristan and William Thornhill and Desirea Gill; a brother, Christopher Thornhill; and a sister, Julie Marie Hernandez. He was preceded in death by grandparents, William L. "Bill" and Hazel V. Martineau Nutter.

Funeral Mass celebrated at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Inurnment in Eloy Memorial Park.
