Bienvenida Arias

CASA GRANDE - Bienvenida Arias, 86, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 13, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospital in Rudesheim, Germany.

Mrs. Arias was born on March 22, 1931, in the Philippines and grew up there. She worked for a while for the former president of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos.

Survivors include her husband, Victoriano Arias Jr.; a daughter, Merle Arias of Casa Grande; a son, Alex Arias of Casa Grande; a sister, Carolina Fores of New Jersey; a brother, Vincente Legaspi Jr. of the Philippines; and two grandchildren.

Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, and 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. Also beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
